Bummed

Im at work bored and I havnt written a blog in a while so thought id write whats on my mind....ok so here goes.


So I went to visit an old friend of mine the other day and was really dissapointed. My friend had been in rehab before because of drugs. After rehab she has been doing drug meetings to help her stay clean. Well recently she started drinking again and I kinda just blew that off thinking it would be ok. But when I came to visit her the other day and she had expressed to me that she is smoking pot again and almost tried coke again. I didnt let her know how I felt about it beacause she was actually high at the time and it would have done no good. I really hope she realizes that this is not a good route for her to take again. This woman has a nice house, a boat, rv, two nice cars, a loving husband and wonderfull friends. I would hate for her to lose all of em again... : (

vegas 2008!!!

We stayed at the stratosphere. I liked the hotel. It was clean and everyone was friendly.The buffet was awesome!!! My only complaint would be how far it is down the strip.This picture was the view from the observation deck at the tip top of the stratosphere! Everything looked like a little toy from that high. The craziest thing is that they have rides on top of it!!!There are rides that are that high! No way am I ever going on one of those! one of them even goes off the edge! insanity I swear!


Here I am playing the slots at the flamingo. Not much to look at on the outside of the hotel but its decent on the inside. I didnt win anything on this machine but won later that night. By the end of the trip I practically broke even. I guess its better than losing a bunch of money. lol.

me and clint are walking down the vegas strip right here. We mostly walked around during the day to look at all the hotels.At night we motly hung out at some bars andfremont street. One night we saw the Follies Bergere show! A definatly must see!!!And for the men its topless!

The most boring day

So im here at the wonderful compass bank sitting here waiting for someone to come in to give me something to do. My day feels like its going backwards!!! Mostly because i know in the back of my mind i wont be here tomorrow! I will be on my way to beautiful las vegas!!! I am so excited!!!

Birthday

so yesterday was my birthday! (03-09-2008) it was a very good day! I stayed home and did practically nothing!!! I watched I dream of jeannie all day and became a couch potato!

Every thursday morning I listen to 104.7 kiss fm. They have this segment called war of the roses.Its where they try to catch ppl cheating. Well I tuned in this morning and was so diapointed! The girl was an idiot! She didnt wait to bust the guy correctly and just started yelling at him and ruined the whole thing!!!And my whole thursday!!

Its really slow here at compass bank so im going to write a blog....

So I recently became vegetarian. Its very different!If you know me pretty well I used to eat meat at LEAST twice a day.Why I made the switch you ask? Well im so tired of seeing all these meat recalls and videos on sick animals being slaughtered and being shipped! You just dont know what you are eating now days. I have not eaten meat since febuary 11th. So roughly 3 weeks.I already feel so much different. I cant really explain it but I guess you can call it HEALTHY! Meat just cloggs you up! Its so hard for your body to digest it. Its flesh ppl!! Its gross! Now that I have eaten so many friuts vegatables and grains that all come from the earth I feel like my soul has been lifted. I feel lighter and more energetic! Plus the diet of a vegetarian is so much more colorful. I look at meat now and I ask myself why I ate it! Its so dull in color and was once alive! Its tragic how our society eats so much meat! Its a meat eaters world out there! Its sickening!
Now I can say I do eat freshwater fish and sea food.I figure it is less tampered with and is more pure than chicken and beef. One day I most likely will stop eating it. Which is very soon. Clint cooked me some the other day and I almost barfed! But until then ill just say I eat it.

This day was fun.We went to the salt river for some fishing. The water was still very cold but i still had a great time just sitting in the sand. Dominic and i built a little sand castle but i forgot to take a picture of it. Clint fished mostly he didnt catch anything. A few bites but nothing really.But the real fun was when we got to our car. i was putting our things in the back and like an idiot i locked my keys in. (Not the first time either...lol)we finally got it open and i couldnt help but laugh.

Party for shelby

Im at my friend shelby's birthday party. We went to a suchi place called ninja. Not a bad place! The sushi was good and i had a great time!!! Oh but beware of the waitresses!!!They are crazy!!!

Peanut

This is me and my dog peanut,she is a brown min pin.We got her when she was 9 weeks. A week ago we went up north to play in the snow.She had a blast! but all the fun ended when she jumped out of my little xb and broke her leg.Its been an experience!!! The day we brought her home from the animal hospital she couldnt walk straight cuz she was so drugged up. lol poor dog.She is doing better and even starting to walk on her leg...yay!

Hockey!!!
